Into the Wild/Domain Change

(necklace/dress: thrifted, shoes: Minnetonka)

So first things first, if you haven't noticed I have changed the domain for my blog - it is now jumpintopuddles.com. I have been meaning to do this because I felt the url being different than the title of my blog might have been a bit confusing, so please take note of this!

Secondly, we are moved in! We are totally exhausted with still a lot to do, but I am super excited to get settled in!!

I found this dress at a thrift store and fell in love with the animal print. It feels like I should be going on a safari in it :D Sorry for the drive by post but there is still plenty of unpacking to do!

So the first pictures is us right after the Warrior Dash!  A little messy huh!? They did publish more pictures, but of course they were insanely expensive and I refuse to pay so this is all I get hahah Unfortunately given the surroundings it is pretty impossible to take your own pictures :( So we are only a couple days from moving so forgive me if I take longer to post than I normally do! Hopefully next time I do we will be all settled in :D

P.S. Oasap is giving you the chance to win cash credits through this little game, it is super easy so you should definitely try it!!

I want to thank you guys for all the encouraging comments on my last post, the blogging community is so amazing and supportive and it means a lot to me!  I will probably make a post on the decisions I have been making once I can get my thoughts organized, even then though it will probably come out all scrambled hahah!  We are moving this weekend so we are getting all of are stuff organized and together.  Moving itself is a pain in the ass, but I am super excited to be living more in the city!  Which reminds me, I would love to meet some of my soon to be fellow Seattle bloggers!  If anyone is interesting in organizing some sort of meet up I think it would be a lot of fun!!  I have to warn you I might be way weirder in real life then I appear to be on this blog so consider this fact before contacting me hahah!  If you are interested shoot me an email: reed.je.m@gmail.com  Hope to hear from some of you :D

So this morning we did the Warrior Dash!  For those that don't know what it is it is a 5k run with obstacles along the way!  It is super muddy and crazy and it was so much fun!  I must have had 5 pounds of mud on me by the end of it but it was a really neat experience and it really has me thinking that I might want to train for something else like a half marathon :D  I will hopefully have a picture in a couple days to show you what we looked like after!

On another I am currently trying to make some pretty important decisions in my life, and that is never easy.  I won't bore you with all the details, but basically I am just really trying to examine what direction I want my life to head in and I have several different paths to consider some of which even conflict with each other.  But I am a firm believer in things working out and that sometimes there is no "wrong" decision.  You always have the power to change things and if I decide on something and it doesn't take me where I want to be then I will just have to reevaluate and decide on something new, right?

(necklace: Nasty Gal, t-shirt: UO, skirt: ASOS, shoes: Aldo)

My boyfriend told me I looked like a superhero in this which made me laugh pretty hard!  I don't know what kind of superhero I would be in this...the booze and cigarette kind maybe according to my t-shirt?  I got this on sale at UO and I love it, it can be so hard to find a good t-shirt that is not too expensive sometimes!  The print is really cool and it is really comfortable.  Although again I picked something that has some writing on it I can't read so I am going to call on you guys to see if anyone can translate since last time I had a couple people that were able to!

(skirt: c/o: Sugarlips, necklace: DIY, top: Rock and Republic, shoes: Kohl's)

When Sugarlips sent me this skirt I was so excited!!  I know I just posted a look with the high-low hem and I was going to wait a little to post this one, but I just couldn't hahaha  I have been loving the asymmetrical cut of this skirt it is so interesting to look at, and the print on it is beyond gorgeous!  It is also combines another trend I am loving - the sheerness so you can see the shorter lining underneath.  It definitely is perfect for summer!

(necklace: Sweet Life, t-shirt/dress/boots: F21)

So we went garage sale-ing this weekend and made such a killing!! I don't think I will ever buy anything new again haha  We pretty much furnished our apartment for the price of buying one piece of furniture new!  I am so excited to move in and get everything situated, it is probably going to be a crazy old lady hodge podge of stuff but I will try to post some pictures when I get it all together :D

(necklaces: Nasty Gal, dress: Asos, vest: Windsor, booties: Dolce Vita)

So I really love the crochet/lace trend, I love how it has that easy summer vibe, but instead of going the more boho route I wanted to change it up and make it a little tougher.  I pretty much feel like adding layered necklaces and booties to any outfit just makes it better hahah

So my summer classes started and although I know I will be happy that I got some out of the way I am regretting it a little because I just want to play outside and not have to use my brain! Is that so wrong?
