Resolutions

Hey guys!  I am back!  So sorry for the absence, but with all the holidays and such well, you know, it can get a little crazy :)  How was everyone's Christmas/New Years??  Hope you all had an amazing time!

So now that it is the new year it is that time to talk about New Year's Resolutions.  I personally like the idea of them (although it can seem a little cliche and maybe a reason to push things off) I prefer to look at it as the opportunity to reset a little bit - look back on past accomplishments and set goals for new ones.  

The sensai at the dojo I take kickboxing classes at wrote an article on his website "10 Ways to Knock Out Your Resoutions," that is full of great idea to help you get motivated to tackle your resolutions.  Plus he has made a commitment to respond to every person that comments AND be your accountability partner (you don't have to be taking classes to participate) so it would mean a lot to me and to him if you checked it out!  It always helps to have someone to motivate you and to hold you accountable when you are trying to conquer your goals.  Of course you can always email me as well if you need some encouragement :)

My main New Year's Resolution has to do with health - me and my bf have started a Paleo diet to kick start a general goal of eating better and exercising more.  So wish us luck and let me know what your resolutions are!

  9. Cool new hairdo. I cut mine awhile ago too. Happy new year 2013. Wish you luck with your resolutions!!!! My resolution is to stop eating junk food. No daily Burger King Large french fries with ketchup and mayonese (almost had them yesterday haha)work out and eat less candy :-)
